InSites conducted an ongoing evaluation of the 19-year U.S.-China Teachers Exchange Program (TEP) since its inception in 1996. The program was administered by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. InSites developed this guide based on its evaluations of the program and other information provided by the program staff. This guide addresses the various day-to-day issues of hosting a Chinese teacher for a school year and, in so doing, enhancing the exchange experience both for the school and for the Chinese exchange teacher.
