Using Qualitative and Quantitative Data in the STEM CLIP


The members of the STEM CLIP decided that they needed to use both quantitative and qualitative data to answer the inquiry questions.

Quantitative data:

  • questionnaire with selected rankings

Qualitative data:

  • student interviews
  • focus group (group interview)
  • one question on questionnaire that students wrote
