PDF
Portable Document Format (PDF) is the file type created by Adobe Acrobat. The advantage of this file type is that the document formatting remains true to the author's intentions ... regardless of platform (PC or Mac, for example). Fonts, images, pagination, all are retained when converted to PDF. Documents are not editable, however. Viewing and printing a PDF document also requires that the Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on your computer. Fortunately, the Adobe Acrobat Reader is free to download. MS Word
The Microsoft Word document file type is created when using this popular word processor. While this file type is the most editable and most accurately represents the layout designed by the author, it also creates very large file sizes. Expect longer download times when choosing this format. For those that do not possess Word, Microsoft has a free viewer to download. Click the link below.
