Montview High School: District Context

Although the student population is mostly homogeneous and middle class, the district mission statement recognizes the need to prepare students for a global society. To achieve this, the district committed to providing learning and skill-building opportunities for teachers and increased the number of professional development days in the contract. The district hires substitutes and provides stipends to teachers for work on the curriculum.
