Clemens Middle School: State Context

The state draws on teachers’ expertise to develop and revise standards. Nearly half of the teachers in the Clemens district have worked in some capacity to develop the standards. Currently the state tests students in Writing, Language Arts, and Math. It is in the process of developing a Social Studies test. The state also administers an exit exam for graduating seniors.
